Template Invoice is built with privacy as a foundational principle. We do not have user accounts, we do not operate a remote database of invoices, and all PDF generation occurs directly on your device.
1. What we do not collect
We do not have user accounts or logins. Invoices are generated entirely inside your own browser window using client-side JavaScript.
We never receive the details you type, your customer information, your pricing, or the PDF files you create and download.
2. What is saved on your device
When "Remember my details on this device" is turned on, your browser stores your profile and invoice draft in local storage so you do not have to retype them on future visits.
The keys stored in your browser local storage are: ti:v1:profile (business details and preferences), ti:v1:draft (current line items), ti:v1:counter (next invoice number), and ti:v1:remember (whether local storage is permitted).
How to remove your saved data: Click the "Forget my details" button at the bottom of the generator, or clear website data for template-invoice.com in your browser settings. This removes all stored keys immediately.
7. Policy updates and contact
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our site features or legal requirements. The updated date at the top reflects the latest revision.
